Monitoring
As of October 2020, three GPS Collar units have been attached to elephants in Balairaja and GSK. Two GPS Collar units are attached to elephants in Balairaja, and one unit to elephants at GSK.
Confilct Mitigation
The Elephant Watch Tower is used in efforts to Mitigate Human-Elephant Conflict in the pockets of the elephant Giam Siak Kecil and Balai Raja Riau Province.
Elephant Conservation
Protection of Sumatran Wild Elephants is provided because the threat to their survival is getting bigger. We did a participatory resource analysis and and the SMART Patrol database
What We Are Good At
RSF are elephant conservation activists in Indonesia, both from the government, the private sector and environmental NGOs who care about the conservation of elephants in Indonesia.
